Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and how to get rid of it.

What we collect
Only what the site actually needs to work:
- When you create an account — your name and email address.
- When you place an order — delivery name, phone number, street address, suburb, state, postcode, any delivery note you write, and what you ordered.
- When you use the forum — the posts, comments and likes you make, shown publicly under your first name.
- When you save a favourite — which flavours you saved. Only you can see this.
We do not collect payment card details on this website. No card is taken here at all.
Your password
We never see it. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only as an irreversible hash.
Where it is stored
Account, order and forum data is stored in a managed Supabase database. The site itself is served by Cloudflare. Both are third-party providers with their own security practices, and data may be stored on servers outside Australia.
Who can see it
Your orders, delivery address and saved favourites are visible only to you when signed in, and to us so we can pack and send your order. The database enforces this at the record level — a signed-out visitor, or another customer, cannot read them. Forum posts are public by design.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the providers above and anyone we need to in order to deliver your order.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser stores your sign-in session and your shopping cart locally so they survive a page refresh — that data stays on your device.
Getting a copy, or getting deleted
Email hello@rainbowhibi.com.au from the address on your account and ask for a copy of your data or for your account to be closed. We will action it within a reasonable time and confirm when it is done.
